Museum of Military History "Zaitsev Mountain"

This museum celebrates the courage and heroism of the Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War. The uniqueness of the museum gives it an interesting location at an altitude of about 270 meters, so there is always fascinating excursions and beautiful.

Museum exhibition tells every tourist on these samples of bravery and courage, which manifests itself in the battle for Warsaw highway, hundreds of thousands of Soviet soldiers. The museum tells the story of the periods of occupation in Spas-Demensk, Yukhnovsky, and Mosalsk Baryatinsky District, their release of the battles near the village of Mount Zaitsev.

The museum is open on the Victory Day in 1972. In 90 years in the museum built a temple-chapel, consecrated in honor of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy".

The museum can be visited from 10 to 17 hours. Monday - closed.
