      Fairly well-known monument to Minin and Prince Pozharsky installed on Red Square in Moscow, but very few people know that in Nizhny Novgorod is his exact, a little small copy. Monument dedicated to the leaders of the second Zemsky militia. The authors of the project were famous sculptors Tsereteli and Martos.

      Cast in bronze figures D.Pozharskogo and K.Minina were mounted on a pedestal made of red granite. Prince Pozharsky leaning on his sword in one hand, and the second - on the board. Nearby is Minin, which shows the direction of the right hand of Moscow, as if calling collect Pozharsky militia to release capital. On the pedestal bears the inscription: "Prince Pozharsky and Minin citizen grateful Russia". Monument opened on November 4, 2005. He was consecrated by Patriarch Alexy II.
