      Pushkin Museum of tales is in the Nizhny Novgorod region, on the territory of the Pushkin Museum-Estate Boldin. It was here that the poet had written most of his famous fairy tales, including "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel", "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish" and "The Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Knights". First works of Pushkin, written for children, was "The Tale of the Priest and of His Workman Balda", written in the first autumn residence of the poet in the estate.

      The museum is located in the house, restored from old photographs and drawings on the site burned down the wing, which served as a place of residence boldzіnskay priest. The decision to open a museum for children was taken due to the fact that the younger generation is the vast number of visitors of the estate.

      The museum exposition includes puppets, book edition of Pushkin's fairy tales, pictures and other items related to the artistic legacy of the great poet.
