      Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the village Manastyrshchyna, Kіmaўskaga District, Tula Region, Russia. It was built in 1875-1884, respectively, in honor of the 500th anniversary of the victory of Kulikovo. The construction site of the temple - probably the burial of fallen soldiers. The temple is named after the Nativity of the Virgin, which fell on the day of battle. In 1980 the church was renovated, and in 2008 was restored iconostasis of the XIX century.

      According to legend, Dmitry Donskoy after the victory in the Battle of Kulikovo, ordered to bury soldiers who died in the same place, and each participant brought with him a log of which, and built a wooden church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There really is wooden church was later destroyed. In its place, and in 1865 was the first stone church of the Nativity of the Virgin. The temple is part of the museum and memorial complex of the village Manastyrshchyna together with the Museum of the Battle of Kulikovo, monuments and memorials.
